Our Kensington Park Bungalow transformation showcases our expertise in breathing new life into homes while seamlessly integrating modern extensions. This family had outgrown their charming bungalow, with older children needing their own space. The solution? A thoughtfully designed extension that caters to their evolving lifestyle.
The extension includes four spacious bedrooms, a contemporary bathroom, a practical laundry, a separate WC, and a stunning open-plan kitchen living and dining areas. The inviting stone fireplace in the living room adds warmth and character, creating a cosy centerpiece for family gatherings. Additionally, the extension incorporates an ensuite and walk in robe down the side of the house, maximising the use of the land.
In addition to the extension, we restored the original home to its former glory. This included repointing the front facade stonework, restoring intricate ceiling details, and painting throughout to refresh and enhance the interiors. We also replaced the original roof, ensuring the home is both structurally sound and visually cohesive. One of the most impressive aspects of this renovation is the way the new ensuite blends seamlessly with the original structure. By carefully matching bricks and stonework, the addition looks as though it has always been part of the home.
