When a wall has this much history and beauty...keep it. We have incorporated what was the outside back wall into the interior of the extension. This now proudly features in the bathroom.

The bespoke staircase that leads up to the master bedroom and ensuite of two storey extension we are building in North Adelaide. Lights have been tested and its almost complete.

Front corner of the house was underpinned to limit any further structural cracking and movement of walls. Once the house had settled we commenced pulling out aluminium doors that had been installed in the 70's. These were replaced with custom made timber windows to match the original windows. We also had to source matching stone for the exterior walls under the new windows. All wall and ceiling cracks were repaired and hard plastered. Floor was relevelled, sanded and polished. circa late 1800's cottage with floor that had been built directly on the dirt and as a result had been attacked by white ants. To resolve we treated for white ants and poured a sub conrete slab floor on which we laid new floor boards. These were then stained to match the remaining original floor boards.
