Project Detail

This kitchen renovation was part of a larger internal renovation project that also included updates to the bathroom and laundry.  A key focus in this kitchen was improving manoeuvrability.  The previous U-shaped kitchen, with only one point of entry and exit, created a cramped and inefficient space.  By extending the kitchen further into the available area, we introduced an island bench, allowing for multiple entry and exit points and enhancing the flow.

Storage was another priority, and we utilised a previously vacant wall to add a new linen and pantry cupboard.  Given the home’s coastal location, the design emphasises creating a light and airy atmosphere.

The transformation also included installing new floating floors and replacing old timber doors with sleek, double-glazed black aluminium doors for a modern touch.
